چکیده

It is important to develop a new convenient and environmentally-friendly technology of liming for sustainable rice production on acidic soil area. Thus, an experiment was conducted evaluate the effect application methods rate lime properties yield. The results showed that similar ameliorating agricultural were found between massive quicklime powered hydrated lime. Interestingly, optimized significantly increases yield, while over-liming leads adverse production. changes nutrients affected by rates related organic matter content texture, with elevated mineralization in sandy soil. Conclusively, method has been be optimal cultivation conditions 1500-2250 kg/ha clay 2250-3000 soil, respectively.

Soil Acidity and Liming

Soil pH, soil acidity, and their effects on plants The pH scale, ranging from 0 to 14, is used to indicate acidity and alkalinity. pH is a measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions (symbol = H) in the water contained in the soil. A pH of 7.0 is neutral, values below 7 are acidic, and those above 7 are alkaline (basic). The lower the pH, the more acid the soil. Each unit pH drop indicates te...
